Community Based Support For Pregnant Women

Same Day and Walk-in Appointments

Healthy Women Houston (HWH) is a collaboration of Avenue 360 Health & Wellness, Community Health Choice, The Council on Recovery, Harris County Domestic Violence Coordinating Council, Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston, Memorial Hermann Health System, and other community partners.

The collaborative was formed to address the rising rate of maternal mortality and morbidity in the Houston area. HWH brings together key healthcare and social support providers to create a new system of care for women. HWH integrates health, behavioral, and social supports for pregnant and post-partum women, and especially women at higher risk of maternal morbidity and mortality.

Healthy Women Houston serves the communities of Third Ward and Sunnyside with future service coming to Southwest Houston.
